Information for the LYC/TSC Regatta can be found here

We have had a problem with the LYC regatta dates. We (LYC) understood the
RMYC regatta was this Saturday and our Regatta was Sunday. RMYC (and the
kindred clubs) had the dates as the 25th (RMYC) and 26th (LYC/TSC).

Given the short notice that this was uncovered at, the Sailing Committee
resolved to go with the published dates in the Kindred Clubs diary.

The Sailing Committee are looking what could be put on in place this
weekend, appreciating that this is short notice. We know there are going to
be issues with the Thundercats races scheduled for this weekend, but we will
endeavour to organise something

My apologies for the confusion and continuing problems we seem to be having
with this year's calendar. I fear we may have one more problem to resolve
yet, but I hope that we will then be in the clear and we can all concentrate
on sailing

This late change has no impact on the House Committees 'River Festival
Party', which is taking place on Saturday the 4th of June at the marina from
19:30 on. A few tickets are still available. After the successful Dinner &
Prize giving last March it will be a great excuse to let your hair down and
party on till the night is over.

New to Sailing?

If totally new to sailing, there are various ways to get involved. The best way is to come down to Liverpool Marina on a Wednesday night from 9pm and introduce yourself. It is easy to do some sailing with our dinghy section or participate in our training scheme. If you have never sailed on yachts before it is a great introduction and the best way of getting your "sea legs".

For information on all our activities see our Sailing Opportunities page. To start sailing with us you could turn up on a Saturday to join a boat for racing in our " Venture Class", or on a Sunday for the IRC racing. You could also start sailing with our dinghy section, or enquire as to who is going out cruising and needs crew.

Joining the Clubs

We are always really keen to recruit new members to the clubs. The two clubs are in alliance under a single management scheme, which means you become a member of both.
